About us
Contrary to what you may have heard, this recall is not driven by disgruntled employees or personal agendas, and we are not part of any “good ol’ boys club.” We are local citizens—many of us Idaho natives—who have spent much of our lives in Washington County. Many in our group even voted for True Pearce but have since changed their minds after seeing his actions in office. We care deeply about this county and the direction it is headed. We believe our elected officials should act with truth, honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior.
We are your neighbors and your friends—homemakers, retirees, business owners, construction workers, surveyors, bus drivers, caretakers, farmers and ranchers, school staff, Community Volunteers, first responders, and other hardworking people from all walks of life.
These hardworking individuals knocked on doors and spoke with neighbors and strangers to gather 1,571 signatures over approximately 68 days, filing the petitions a week ahead of the deadline. Of those, 1,409 were verified as valid—well above the 1,258 required to place the recall on the May ballot.
This means that roughly 25% of the electorate signed the petition, demonstrating strong community support and a clear desire to be heard.
